INTRODUCTION

The Atiamah Trust exists to help and support families and orphans in the very poor Upper East region of Ghana. Funds are used to help adults and children with food, medicines and education.

It is a charity run on a voluntary basis to raise funds primarily within the UK. The charity has minimal overheads and aims to directly support any projects in Ghana which meet the objectives of the charity.

The funds we raise are relatively small but are currently used to support over 1000 adults and children. That support ranges through basic food supplements, medicines and education. We also apply to other charitable trusts for grants which can be used to buy more medicines or vehicles.

We want to do more. Better medicines and treatments; more education and apprenticeships; a comprehensive resource-cum-health centre; other regions in Ghana.
